Carlene Sink Crotts Irving

Carlene Sink Crotts Irving, 91, of Salem passed away July 23, 2023 at Richfield Health Center.

A native of North Carolina she was the wife of the late, Edward W. Irving, Jr. and the daughter of George Adam Sink and Renebell Leonard Sink, both deceased. Carlene worked for many years at General Electric. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Carlene enjoyed sewing and making clothes.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Rick Crotts; grandson, Cameron Crotts and wife Hollie; two grandsons, Harrison Cheshier and Carter Crotts; and many nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynne Crotts.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor T.G. Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
