Carol Biggs Craig

Carol Biggs Craig, 77, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born August 14, 1946, in Eden, North Carolina to the late Otis Lester Biggs, and Lelia Alma Sarver Biggs.In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Crow” Swanson Craig; her son, Steven O. Morris; sister, Martha Lee Biggs; and brothers, Donald Lee Biggs and Walter Robert Biggs.Carol graduated from Morehead High School in 1964, and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her dogs, Buddy and Bandit, children, flowers, and watching The Young and the Restless. She worked at Bassett Walker for twenty-two years and ended her career working in the Henry County School System.Carol’s survivors are her daughter, Christy C. Sotelo; son, Jerry Randolph Denny; sister, Mary Ellen Wooten; brothers, David Biggs, and Tommy Biggs; grandchildren, Alexis Cheyenne Denny, Savannah Preston Denny, Cherlynn Elizabeth Denny and Delisa Christiania Hairston; special friends, Sharon Johnson (David) and Curtis Valentine.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 4:30 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Chaplain Daniel Collins officiating.
