Carol Delong Jarrell

On May 24, 2025, at 85 years young Carol left the bonds of earth to soar to the heavens. She was born March 16, 1940, the second child of Hilda (Miller) and John Paul DeLong Sr. Carol was proceeded in death by her parents, husband William Jarrell and brother Freddie DeLong. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sherry, son-in-law Rick Frederick, daughter Opal Lynn Jarrell, and daughter Wanda Sue Mays, five grandchildren: Robert (Brittany), Richard (Carly), Brandi, and Jason (Maggie) and Bailey. Six great grandchildren, Theo, Bryce, Elizabeth, Quinn, Jude, and Johnathan; as well as, brothers Jimmie, John Paul Jr (Joyce), David (Betty), and Vernon (Wanda); sisters Opal (Keith), Lois (John David), Gail, and Marsha (Walter). Carol was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Greatly missed by all, an amazing women, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Per Carol’s wishes there will not be a funeral. A celebration of Carol D. Jarrell’s amazing life will be held at a later date.
