Carol McKenzie, 64, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was born November 26, 1959, in Henry County, to Marshall V. Millner, Sr. and the late Mabel Hairston Millner.Carol attended Morning Star Holiness Church and graduated from Laurel Park High School.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mabel J. McKenzie; paternal grandparents, Mr. George B. Millner and Reverand Almeda Millner.Carol is survived by her husband, William S. McKenzie, Sr.; daughters, Takeshia McKenzie, Tasha McKenzie, Corinne McKenzie; sons, William S. McKenzie, Jr. (Dana), Quinton McKenzie (Chelsea), Robert McKenzie, Jordan McKenzie, and Carroll McKenzie; sisters, Marilyn Millner, Cheryl Millner and Melissa Gravely (James); brothers, Marshall Millner, Jr., Kerry Millner, and Darryl Millner; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild.The funeral will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Morning Star Holiness Church with Pastor Tyler Millner officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A Floating Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Home.
