Carolyn H. Maupin

Carolyn H. Maupin, age 83 of Troutville, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Carolyn was born in Roanoke and lived in Troutville since 1976. She was the daughter of the late Roy P. and Christine J. Garrett Hall. Carolyn was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 60 years. She was a member of Hope Bible Church for 65 years; enjoyed gospel music, needlework, her flower gardens, and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Beverly Z. Maupin. She is survived by her daughters: Renee Maupin of Roanoke, and Lisa (Steven) Drew of Birmingham, England, UK; a grandson, Josh McCray of Troutville; brothers: John (Donna) Hall and Lee (Linda) Hall all of Roanoke, and Barry (Linda) Hall of Blue Ridge.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be 2:00pm Saturday February 4 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Reverend Don Eshelman officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8pm Friday.
