Carroll "Dickie" Lee Croft

Carroll L. "Dickie" Croft, 84, of Roanoke went to his heavenly home on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born on May 5, 1939, the son of the late Katie Lucille Croft Deaner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Croft, daughter, Cathy Croft and very special aunt, Elva Smith. Dickie is survived by his son, Tony Croft and wife, Julie, son, Joey Croft and wife, Rosie, brother, Jerry Deaner and wife Kathy, sister, Linda Underwood, sister, Bettie Ward and sister Sylvia Beckner and husband, Kenneth. Grandchildren, Christie Williams (Jamie), Amber Sills (Frank), CJ Croft, Chris Croft and Daphne Wagner (Eric). Great grandchildren, Makayla, Layla, Connor, Erica, Alexis, Haylea, Bindi, Luke and Mathias. Also, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Dickie served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He retired from ITT after many years of service. He was a faithful member of Good News Baptist Church. He was a devout Christian who believed in the power of prayer. Dickie loved blue grass and southern gospel music. He was a blessing to all how knew him.The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
