Cecil "Pops" Eugene Noah

Mr. Cecil Eugene “Pops” Noah, age 82 of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday September 11, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born October 10, 1941, in Surry County to the late Lee Roland Noah and Lola Marie Smith Noah. He was of the Baptist faith, worked construction with various companies, one of his biggest projects was helping build Hanes Mall. Left to cherish his memory is the mother of his children, Rebecca Eldene Noah; sons, Billy Noah, Johnny Noah; loving grandchild, Rebecca Noah; great grandchildren, Adley White, Paxton Noah, Willow Haynes. In addition to his parents, Mr. Noah was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Faye Noah Pack, Patricia Ann Noah Pike, and Judy Kay Noah Boyles; an infant sister, Angela Lee Noah; and by his brother, Fred Noah. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2024, at The People’s Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Eugene Brinkley, Pastor Craig Samples officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at The Peoples Church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
