Charleen Thompson Dobson

Charleen Thompson Dobson, 93, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac H. and Katie Brown Thompson; husband, Robert Luther Dobson, Sr.; son, Robert Luther Dobson, Jr.; grandson, Brandon Andrews; and sisters, Delois Lewis and Veralee Thompson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ardelia D. Reeves of Roanoke, Demetry M. Dobson of Christiansburg, Isaac W. Dobson (Ranglette) of Radford, and C. Katrice Davis (Berkeley) of Richmond; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive family and friends from 12pm – 1 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, at First Baptist Church – 555 W. Rock Road in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Rev. Dr. Lee E. Suggs, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
