Charles “Tony” Anthony Thomas Jr., 65, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born January 14, 1959, in Patrick County to Ella Mae Shough Thomas Martin and the late Charles Anthony Thomas Sr.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step father, James C. Martin; brother, J.C. Martin Jr; brother in law, Ronald L. Alderman.Charles attended Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a truck driver for Bassett Furniture for twenty-eight years. He enjoyed watching westerns, hunting, fishing, working on cars, and going to church. Charles loved his family and enjoyed being around people and having a good time. He enjoyed spending time with his pets Puppsie, Ollie, and Buggie.In addition to his mother, Ella Mae Martin, he is survived by his loving wife of forty seven years, Kathy Thomas; daughter, Dannielle Widener (Casey); brother, Richard A. Thomas; grandchildren, Cassie Widener, Levi Widener; sister in law, Debra S. Vaughan (Joey); brother in law, James E. Alderman (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews.The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Samuel Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Providence United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
