Charles Edward Broughman

Charles “Charlie” Edward Broughman, Sr., 81, of Roanoke formerly of Fincastle, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Broughman and Helen Broughman Jones; son, Chuck Broughman; brother, Bobby Broughman; brothers-in-law, Dennis Dunbar, Jack Dunbar, and John Riley.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Linda Gail Broughman; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Tracy Broughman; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Barry Chafin; grandchildren, Ashton and Garrison Gravely, Carrie Broughman, and Justin Broughman; one great-granddaughter, Hartlynn Gravely; sisters, Shirley Dunbar, Becky Hensley, and Edith Dunbar; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Claudette Broughman; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with services at 1pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Terry officiating.
