Charles Edward Mitchell, age 87, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was the son of the late Tan Mitchell and Grace Jordan Mitchell.
In addition to his parents Charles was preceded in passing by his daughter Tina Tyree.
Those left to cherish Charles's memory include his son David Mitchell; his brother P.H. Mitchell; his grandchildren Crystal Ann Mitchell and David Edward Mitchell; and his great-grandchild Adream Cloud St. Louis.
A visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 1 pm at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
