Charles Richard Cumbee

Charles Richard Cumbee went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 83. Richard was born on July 5, 1941, to the late Charlie May Cumbee and Lida Bell Cumbee. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Davis (John); son, Richie Cumbee (Melinda); two granddaughters, Courtney Wooddell (Trenton) and Kelley Davis; one great grandson, Boone Wooddell. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as sisters Maybell, Marie, Beulah and brothers, Calvin, Alfred, Roy, Thomas, and David. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman who had many friends. Special friends; including Eddie Akers, Steve Walters, Wes Burton, Bob Justice, Coletta Mabry, and Conrad Dalton. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church and loved his church family. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Neil officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 pm before the service.
