Charles Shane Pritchard

Shane, a beloved son, cherished brother, and devoted friend, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and joined his father, Charles Edward Pritchard.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated mother, Debra "DJ" Pritchard, and his supportive and loving sister, Kristin "Blue" Pritchard (Tom). Shane’s memory will be treasured by his special uncle, Johnny Singleton, cousins, Jamey Singleton, Kimberly Kaufmann (Georg), Tyler, and Alex, special aunt Dee Dillon Singleton, as well as a large, loving network of aunts, uncles, and cousins across Mississippi and Georgia.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to the compassionate professionals at Lewis Gale, UVA, Franklin Memorial Hospital, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, for their care and support. Above all, they are profoundly thankful for the overwhelming love and devotion shown by Shane's numerous friends.

Despite countless health battles and difficult journeys, Shane faced every challenge with unbreakable strength and a resilient, ever-present smile, setting an inspiring example of grace for everyone around him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025 with Rev. Will Waller officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to assist with expenses and directed to Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
