Charles Worley Fletcher, Sr. Obituary Charles Worley Fletcher, Sr. 78 of Rocky Mount, VA passed away peacefully and gained his heavenly wings to join his wife and children in heaven. Born Sunday, June 30, 1946, in Pearisburg, VA to the late James Daniel Fletcher and Mildred Moseley Fletcher. In addition to his parents Charles is predeceased in death by his wife, Sharon Fisher Fletcher; his son, Charles Worley Fletcher Jr.; his daughter Tammy Lynn Fletcher Smith; granddaughter, Nikki Vickers-Fletcher; brothers, Jackie Fletcher and J.D. Fletcher. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Terry Lee Beckner, and husband, Michael; Michael’s sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Bruce Martin; grandchildren, Jessica Ann Marie Rico and her husband, Alberto, Logan W. Beckner, James M. Fletcher, Wayne Fletcher, Mack Fletcher, Ryan Waldron, and Michael R. Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Ashley “Punkin” Lynch, Luka Rico, Ava Rico, Raelynn Rico, and Jaxson Rico; special friends, Linda Francisco, Lynn Francisco, JoAnn McGlothlin, Peggy Francisco, Moretta Dawn, Calvin and Mary Fitzgerald, and Maggie and T. Vickers Black.Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, with Pastors Gary and Diane Huffman officiating Interment will follow at Birchlawn Burial Park at 177 Birchlawn Circle, Pearisburg, VA.
