Charlie Monroe Turner

Charlie Monroe Turner, age 81of Fieldale, VA passed away on March 11, 2026.

Mr. Turner was born on August 10, 1944 in Henry County, VA to Alexander Turner and Bedie Alice Martin Turner. He addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Pack Turner. He was employed by Robert’s Body Shop until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Betty Joe Brown Turner, one daughter, Carrie Ruth Smith (Terry), one son, Charles Michael Fulcher (Naoka ), 4 grandchildren; Sean Fulcher, Keir Fulcher, Alyson Smith and Annelise Smith.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. With Pastor Allen Cardwell III officiating. Burial will be in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
