Christine Haley Blankenship

Christine Haley Blankenship, age 93 of Penhook passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born January 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Charlie and Fannie Rigney Haley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Blankenship; son, Steve Blankenship; daughter, Lisa Blankenship; two grandchildren, Little Mike and Emilyn; and siblings, Jimmy Haley, Dan Haley and Nora Walls. Surviving are her children, Ellen Turner (Sammy), Cathy Bradner (Silas, deceased), Wanda Ramey, Michael Blankenship, Theresa Foley, Michelle Reynolds (Kenny) and Jeff Blankenship (Robin); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Maybyrd Blankenship. Funeral services will be held at Cool Springs Christian Church, 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024 with Pastor Derek Layman and Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in the Blankenship Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
