Cindy Sasser Hill

Cindy Sasser Hill, 58, of Apex, North Carolina went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2024 from a battle with small cell lung cancer.

Cindy was born November 9,1965 in Danville, VA. She attended George Washington High School (1984) and Averett University (1995). She and her husband, Mark, married on January 22,1999.

Cindy was a member of Danville Bible Chapel. She was a talented artist who filled the world around her with light and color.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Hill of the residence; her son, Cody Hill; her parents, Henry and Diane Sasser; her brother, John Sasser; Kristi Sasser Jones and Mike Jones, sister and brother-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Joyce McBride; and her grandmother, Nettie Dalton.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel, 511 Church Avenue, Danville, Virginia with Jonathan Brower officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.

At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence of her parents.
