Clarence "Benny" Benton Evans

Clarence “Benny” Benton Evans Jr., 64, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born August 7, 1960, in Eden, North Carolina to the late Clarence Benton Evans Sr. and Nancy Fridell Taylor.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy McDaniel and brother, Robbie Evans.Benny was a truck driver for over thirty years where he enjoyed traveling. He was a simple man who stayed to himself. In his younger days he loved to hunt. Benny was a hardheaded and stubborn man.He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lewis (Robert “Robby”); sister, Charissa Evans, brother, Roy “Eddie” E Evans; grandchildren, Mckinley and Wyatt.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, at 11:00 AM at Aiken Summit Wesleyan Church, 4980 Axton Road, Axton, Virginia 24054 with Pastor Arnold Barnes officiating.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
