Clarence Earl Deshazo
Clarence Earl DeShazo, a.k.a “C.E.” or “Big Daddy,” 83, of Lynchburg, VA passed away on March 5, 2026 at home.
Born November 26, 1942 in Lynchburg, VA, a son of the late Robert Earl DeShazo and Inez Layne DeShazo. C.E. was a very talented mechanic who could fix almost anything you put in front of him and a dedicated Harley Davidson fanatic. He had a long and successful career as a drafting engineer at General Electric before he retired.
C.E. leaves behind his beloved children, Sheila DeShazo, Stacey Blake (Matthew) and Shona Franks; four grandchildren, Chyna Bush Jones (Benjamin), Dylan Bush (Miranda Nolen), Ana Talbert (John Patrick) and Kamea Blake; four great grandchildren, Liliana, Cohen, Beck and Rhys; one niece, Roxanne Fulcher; two nephews, Tony and Shane Fulcher; and Tina Hamilton who lovingly cared for C.E. over his last few years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Fulcher and Douglas DeShazo.
A graveside service celebrating CE’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Alden Gallimore officiating.
