Clenon Odell Moran

Clenon Odell Moran, 94, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at his residence. He was born on October 2, 1929, in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late Edgar Clyde Moran and Beulah Virginia James Moran.

Odell was preceded in death by the love of his life, Iva Mae Ingram Moran, his wife of 59 years.

He was preceded in death by six siblings, and is survived by two sisters, Vivian Rakes and Carolyn Quinn.

He was a faithful member of Collinsville Church of Christ.

Odell is survived by his sons, Larry Wayne Moran and Larry’s wife, Linda, of Henderson, TN, Ken Moran and Ken’s wife, Teresa, of Williamsburg, Virginia and daughter, Karen Moran Goudeau Fenter and her husband, Randy, of Austin, TX. Odell leaves eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, with Gary Hollingsworth officiating at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. The burial will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Burial Park.

Odell loved life: his family, his church, old-time mountain music, hunting, and everyone he met.
