Clifford Farley

August 5, 1939 - June 18, 2024

Mr. Clifford Ray "Cliff" Farley, age 84, of Covington, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Juanita Taylor Farley.
Mr. Farley was born August 5, 1939 in Beaver, WV, the son of the late Clifford Clark Farley and Mary Magdalene Lilly Farley. Cliff served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was employed by Mead Westvaco where he worked at the scales by #8 paper machine for thirty-nine years. Besides being called "Cliff", many people knew him as "George" and he loved laughter and a good joke especially since he took a lot of them. Mr. Farley was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and especially cooking for others. His entire family loved him very much.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Farley is survived by his children and step-children, Jeffrey Taylor and wife, Tana of Statesville, NC, Pamela Morgan and husband, Gary of Hot Springs, Clifford "Butch" Farley, Jr. and wife, Becki of Oklahoma and Anne Farley Grider and husband, David; six grandchildren, Aaron Grider, Crystal Grider, Amanda Grider, Whitey Farley, Alexi Farley and Hunter Farley; a step grandson, Justin Taylor; one great grandson; and two sisters, Genevieve Farley Smith of Hilldale, WV and Ruth Tabor Kessler of Marie, WV.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Falling Spring Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mike Matlack officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the church and at other times, at the residence, 321 E. Fudge Street, Covington.
