Clyde Edward Mullins

Clyde Edward Mullins, 81, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned on Sunday August 25, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1942, in Martinsville Virginia, to the late Mary Spencer Mullins and Pete Mullins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Steven Leon Mullins; sister, Helen Mullins Hairston; brother’s Patrick Mullins and Benjamin Mullins.Clyde was of the Baptist faith and attended High Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed building homes and laying brick. His passion was working on his land, raising cattle, and helping others.He is survived by his wife, Frances Redd Mullins; daughters, Paulette Mullins Carter (Anthony), Nicole Mullins; sister, Gevena Mullins Napper; grandchildren, Brian Christopher Mullins and Conner Blake Mullins.The funeral will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM at High Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends and family at the home 1326 Chestnut Knob Rd Martinsville Virginia.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
