Colene Sumner Cromer

Sina "Colene" Sumner Cromer passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 87 in Roanoke. She was reunited with her beloved husband, Edward "Bud" Cromer, and her parents, Andrew and Margaret Chrisley Sumner.

Colene was preceded in death by her sisters Maxine, Irene, Delta, and Kathleen, her brothers Warren and Wayne, her grandson Joshua Nix, and great-granddaughter Alorah Cromer.

She is survived by her sons Mark Cromer (Kim) and Dwayne Cromer, her daughter Denise Cromer, her stepdaughter Debbie Sarver, and stepson Edward "Buddy" Cromer. Colene also leaves behind her grandchildren Chris (Gina), Jeremy (Corrie), Robert "RJ", Logan, Mandy (Matthew), Miranda, Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Brayden, as well as her great-grandchildren Aaron, Blake, Abby, Levi, Jordun, Liam, Alston, Ava, and Arrie.

Friends and family are invited to visitation at the Simpson Funeral Home on Peters Creek Road from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Interment will be held privately.
