Connie Gleaton Harold

Mrs. Connie G. Harold, age 66 of Cana, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in St. Augustine, Florida. Mrs. Harold was born January 6, 1958, in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Larry Lee and Hazel Smith Gleaton. Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her husband, Richard Anthony Harold; a daughter and son-in-law, Dee Horton and Blake; stepdaughter, Courtney Cromer and daughter Olivia; stepson, Richard “Dillon” Harold; three grandchildren, Jackson Horton, Reese Horton, McKinley Horton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Amber and Junior Odem, Janet and Ray Carrigg, Brenda Gleaton and Lillie Gleaton; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by three sisters, Pamela Gleaton; and three brothers, Gerry Gleaton, Duke Gleaton, and Dale Gleaton. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Scotty Bullins officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia-Carolina Enterprise in Cana, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Moody Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
