Cora Denise Combs Nunn

Mrs. Cora Denise Combs Nunn, 65, of Stuart, VA, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her home. Mrs. Nunn was born February 4, 1958, at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery AL, to the late Parley and Mary Wingard Combs. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger Allen Nunn; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Brad Kirkman; a son and daughter-in-law, John DePrisco Jr. and Holly DePrisco; three grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Kamron Kirkman, and Brody DePrisco; a great-grandchild, Willa Collins; a sister, Myra Nunn; and a brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Shelia Combs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nunn was preceded in death by two sisters, Lynda Nichols and Mary Meeks. Per Denise’s request, no formal services will be held. However, a special gathering will be held to honor her memory at a later date. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
