Cornelius Alexander "Nick" Toliver

Cornelius Alexander "Nick" Toliver, 56 of Fincastle, VA entered peacefully into eternal rest on October 20, 2023. Cornelius "Nick" was born on June 19, 1967, to Nellie R. Burrell-Toliver and Richard W. Toliver, Sr. in Baumholder, Germany.

Nick became a member of the Lily of the Valley Baptist Church at a young age. He graduated from Lord Botetourt High School in 1986 - Nick was on the LB Football team and also enjoyed playing softball too. He worked at Virginia Transformer Corporation as a Welder and owned his own dog kennel for many years.

Nick was a hard worker, loving son, and a devoted uncle to many. He loved to take his dogs hunting and watch them "let loose on them rabbits!" Nick loved spending time with his Mother "Nellie." He was preceded in death by both of his grandparents George & Mary- Ruth Burrell and Carrie J. Toliver.

Left to cherish his memory; his devoted Mother: Nellie R. Burrell-Toliver of Fincastle, VA; Father: Richard W. Toliver, Sr. and his brother: Richard W. Toliver, Jr. both of Wichita Falls, TX; his nieces Jalisha S. Heighter of Fincastle, VA; Ravon C. Monroe of Wichita Falls, TX; and his nephew: Aaron (Daylin) L. Heighter of Covington, VA and a host of other loving friends and family.

A Celebration of Nick's life will be 1:30PM Saturday October 28, 2023 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Minister Marilyn Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the service begins at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place at Lily of the Valley Church Cemetery following the service.
