Cory Lynn Frazier

Cory Lynn Frazier, 43, of Elkin, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 19, 2025, at Duke University Hospital. Born February 23, 1982, in Galax, Virginia to Willis Wade and Paula Vaughan Frazier. Cory was an avid outdoorsman and had a love for all things fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed farming and raising livestock. A loving husband, father, brother, son and friend, Cory will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Along with his parents, left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jessica Stanley Frazier; sons, Christian “Tyler” Frazier, and Logan Patrick Frazier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin Frazier and Sherry, and Chris Frazier and Crystal; nieces, London Frazier, Kersten King, and Sydney King; nephew, Caleb Frazier; and father and mother-in-law, Keith and Sherry Stanley. The family will receive friends Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, following the visitation at Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
