Curtis Delano Wagner
Mr. Curtis Delano Wagner, age 84 of Collinsville, Va passed away on November 18, 2022.Curtis was born on June 10, 1938 in Franklin County, Va to the late William Carlton Wagner and the late Helen Sledd Wagner. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ellen Wagner. He served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Guy M. Turner, Inc. as a Crane Operator. He was a founding member of Reliable Welding and Fabrication, owner and operator of Wagner Truck and Wagner’s Garage. He was a member of Ferrum Rescue Squad and Ferrum Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Waidsboro Ruritan Club and a member of the Mill Creek Quartet. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bassett. He loved Hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, flying Model Aircraft, boating, water skiing, camping and spending time with family and friends.He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Martha Trail Wagner, one special son, William C. Wagner, one sister, Francis Jamison, one grandson, William C. Wagner, Jr. "the joy of his life", one step grandson, Wayne Milam ,one step great granddaughter, Danika Milam, two nieces; Karen Jamison, Sandra Jamison Brown and one special cousin, Louise Boley.A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Bassett on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 pm with the Reverend Doug Ramsey and Mr. Monroe Light officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park with Military Rites to be conducted by the Martinsville-Henry County, Veterans Honor Guard.The family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Bassett, P.O.
