Curtis Hodnett

Curtis Hodnett, 79, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born June 26, 1944, in Henry County, to the late Babe Clayton Hodnett and Lucy Faith Weaver Hodnett.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Shoemaker; brothers, Jack Weaver Hodnett, Benjamin Franklin Hodnett, James Phillip Hodnett, and Randolph Clayton Hodnett.Curtis was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was of the Baptist faith, and completed two years at Roxboro Business College. He was an employee of the Martinsville DuPont Plant for twenty-five years.He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lynn Hodnett; sisters, Dorothy Ellen Perdue, Barbara Jean Nelson, and Annie “Ann” Culler; brother, Gerald Edward Hodnett; grandson, Dylan Kaleb Hodnett; and great-grandson, Landyn Hodnett.The graveside service will be Friday, July 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Fair Haven Memorial Park.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
