Cynthia Meadows Eades

Cynthia Meadows Eades, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Lucille Howard Meadows. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Meadows.

Cynthia taught in the public education system for more than 30 years, having worked in Richmond, Narrows, and Roanoke City. She loved the students as well as the friendships she made with other teachers.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry Eades; a son, Gabriel Eades (Ajoke); grandchild, Ayomide Eades.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek, VA.
