Dale Monroe Wilson

Dale Monroe Wilson, 69, of Axton, VA passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born July 15, 1953 in Martinsville, VA to the late Luther B. Wilson and Christine Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Wilson, Harry Taylor, and Donald Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Barker Wilson of the home; daughters, Adrienne Bender (Dennis), Alisha Britton (Teddy), and Lori Frye (Tommy); son, Josh Wilson (Adriana); sister, Judy Philpott; brother, Eugene Wilson; grandchildren, Jaxon Britton, Jett Britton, Jacen Britton, Abbygale Bender, Ayden Bender, Ella Frye, and Emma Frye.

Mr. Wilson pastored for many years. He loved playing softball and played on various teams. He was always there to support his grandchildren and would never miss events they were part of. He loved his family dearly.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Abundant Life Fellowship with Pastor Teddy Britton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Alisha and Teddy. A private burial will take place at Roselawn Burial Park.
