Daniel Leo Myers

DANIEL LEO MYERS, 61, of Bland, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born October 27, 1963 in Bluefield, WV, the son of Richard & Brenda Myers.

Daniel was a loner who enjoyed being at home. He was a master on the grill. He drove a truck for the mines for many years.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed long rides on backroads and taking pictures of nature.

There wasn’t much he couldn’t do and he will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Myers and his brother, Richard Lee (“Ricky”) Myers, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Melisa Havens Myers; his daughter, Chrystal Myers; his son, Nathaniel Myers; his mother Brenda Buckner Myers; his sister, Joyce Myers; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Per his wishes, Daniel will be cremated. The family plans  to receive friends at the home, 57 Dogwood Lane, Bland, VA, 24315, on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
