Daniel Wayne Clifton

Daniel Wayne Clifton, 83, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1941, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Murray Freeman Clifton and Wilda Mae Joyce Clifton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Noah Clifton; and his sister, Libby Adkins.

Daniel attended County Line Church of God and Prophecy. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Daniel leaves behind the following legacy, his loving wife of 63 years, Sarah Cook Clifton; two children, Robert Freeman Clifton (Melody) and Karen Clifton Harris (Dale); grandchildren, James Clifton (Hali), Angela Clifton Muncy (Justin), Matt Harris, and Megan Harris Martin (Josh); great-grandchildren, Riley Clifton, Abby Muncy, Lacey Muncy, Seth Muncy, Scarlett Martin, Hazel Martin, and River Martin; sister, Virginia Stone; brother, Gary Clifton (Melanie); and a special caregiver, Vanessa Lipscomb.
