Danielle Marie Ayers

Danielle Marie Ayers, 21 of Ararat, NC, passed away at her home on Wednesday October 8, 2025. She was born April 12, 2004, in Forsyth County to Roger Daniel Ayers and the late Shannon Marie Wilmoth Graves. She was a 2022 graduate of North Surry High School. Danielle was a very intelligent and artistic young lady who loved her cats. Left to cherish her memory are her father, Roger Ayers, the love of her life, Kory Martin; sister, Brooke Graves; maternal grandmother, Laura Mae Pack Wilmoth; aunts and uncles, Angela and Danny Golding, Robin and Greg Slate, Lee Wilmoth, Dustin and Amanda Wilmoth, Sandra “Sandy” Ayers Cox and Jerry, Linda Ayers Hiatt, Wesley and Marilyn Ayers, and Tony Ayers; several cousins; a very special friend, Donika; her extended family, Mary Ann Klein, Mary Arlene Crotts, and Wesley Crotts; and her special fur babies, Smoky and Chubbs. In addition to her mother, Danielle was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Gray Wilmoth; her paternal grandparents, Roger Lewis Ayers and Christine Sleight Ayers; and by an uncle, Jimmy Franklin Hiatt. A celebration of Danielle’s life will be held at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, Friday October 31, 2025, at 3:00pm. A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:00pm at Moody’s. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
