Danny Austin

Mr. Danny Lee Austin, age 71, of Hot Springs, died Monday, July 17, 2023, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor. He was the husband of Michelle Thomas Austin.
Mr. Austin was born December 1, 1951 in Ronceverte, WV, the son of the late William Austin and Linda Ratliff Austin. He was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School. Danny was employed as a master cabinet maker by Greenbrier Architecture Woodworking.
In addition to his wife, Michelle Thomas Austin, Mr. Austin is survived by a son, Nathan Arbaugh of Thomasville, NC; a daughter, Kelly Rock and fiancé, Brian McKinnell of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Colton Strickland and Annora Arbaugh of Thomasville, NC and Lindra Austin of White Sulphur Springs, WV; brothers, Gary Defibaugh (Linda) of Staunton, David Austin (Lisa) of Ronceverte, WV, Dennis Austin (Cheryl) of Ronceverte, Darryl Austin (Melanie) of Bartlesville, OK; sisters, Susan Morgan (Steve) of Ronceverte, Debbie Austin of Princeton, WV; nephews, Tony, Dayne, Alec, Jared, Dayton and Ethan; nieces, Brianna, Abby, Lindsey; great nephews, Tristan, Dax; great nieces, Emily, Madison and Lydia; mother-in-law, Delores Thomas of Falling Springs; and special friends, Charles "Smiley" Campbell, John and Mae Helmintoller, Mike and Cindy Crowder, Mary Buckland, Tom Nickells and Margaret Mann.
In addition to his parents, William and Linda Austin, Mr. Austin was preceded in death by a son, Daren Austin in 2010; his father-in-law, Richard Thomas in 2008; and his constant companion, Pixie.
A service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2023, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Baek officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
