Danny F. Montgomery

Danny F. Montgomery, age 72, of Chatham, VA entered into eternal rest on July 4, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA. He was born on September, 25, 1950, in Halifax County, VA, the son of the late Stuart Montgomery and the late Rebecca Meadows Montgomery. Danny attended The Church of God of Prophecy in Java. He was retired for more than 20 years after having worked at Health-Tex.

He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Montgomery-Webb and husband Mac of Danville and Maxine Montgomery of Hurt, VA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gurney Montgomery. In addition to his sisters, he has a host of nieces and nephews and friends to cherish his memory.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Java.3348 Java Road, Java, VA 24565, officiated by Rev. Edward Pope.
