Danny Gerald McDonald

Danny McDonald left his earthly life surrounded by family at Lewis Gale Hospital.  He was predeceased by his parents, Ammon and Dorothy McDonald, sisters, Deidra Mitchell, Sharon Creasey, and Sandra Maxey.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie McDonald, son, James “JC” McDonald, daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Charles Neighoff.  In addition, he is survived by his sisters Jeri Starkey and Vicky Poston.  His life is celebrated with his grandchildren, Marleigh and Kaiven in addition to several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Danny retired from Graham White and enjoyed “piddling” in his garage.  He enjoyed time with his grandchildren, watching NASCAR and simply enjoying the retired life.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m.  at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
