Darlene Morris Hutchison

Darlene Morris Hutchison, 81, of Roanoke passed away peacefully Saturday, October 21, 2023 while surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Everette "Butch" Hutchison, Jr.; parents, John and Clara Morris; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hutchison was known by those in the community as "Momma Hutch". She was a devoted caregiver and prayer warrior.

Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Everette Wayne Hutchison; children, David Hutchison, John Hutchison (Paula), Pam Beckner, Chrystall Ayers (Lee), and Monica Hutchison; grandchildren, Jordy Hutchison, Josh Hutchison, Ashley Hutchison, Jennifer Dooley, Brittany Hutchison, Erika Thompson (Adam), Jesse Beckner (Candice), Isaiah Hutchison, and Marica Hutchison; twelve great grandchildren; and many other beloved extended family members.

A celebration of Darlene's life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Colonial Baptist Church 221 Hillcrest Street Blue Ridge, VA by Pastor Joel Wegner.Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
