Daryle Roger Peltier
Daryle Roger Peltier, 60, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born October 29, 1964, in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Sterling Roger Peltier and Peggy Joy Argenbright Peltier.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers in arms.
Daryle proudly served his country as a United States Marine from 1983 until 1987, later joining The National Guard in 1999 where he achieved the rank of E-6 before retiring. He served during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Homeland, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and two tours in Iraq. He was a devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church and a good Christian man. He loved the Lord and his family deeply. A 1983 graduate of Hargrave Military Academy, he held a strong since of discipline. He found joy in studying theology and sharing his faith through Kindness, especially in his outreach to the homeless in his community. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, golfing, gardening, and bowling. Above all Daryle was devoted family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Pamela Renee Roark Peltier; daughters, Nicole Yates (Scott) and Taylor McBride; sons, Caleb Peltier (Kenzie), Aaron “Cody” Peltier (Grecia), Christian Peltier (Victoria), and Cory McBride (Faith); sister, Brenda Peltier; grandchildren, Zoey Carson, Aspen, Maximillian, Paislee, Phoenix, Lorelai, Rommel, Camilla, Scotty, Brooklyn, Latacus, and Chloe.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor David Boarman officiating. Military Honors will be presented by Virginia Military Funeral Honors. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
