David Ancell Day

David Ancell Day, Jr., 51, of Roanoke, Virginia, husband of Betsy Blake Day, died at home Thursday, May 15, 2025.

David was born on October 30, 1973 in Roanoke, Virginia and was a lifelong Roanoke resident. David was the son of David A. Day, Sr. and Patricia Day of Roanoke.

David is survived by his wife of 15 years Betsy Blake Day; daughter Savannah Day Meacham (25); sons, Hayden Riley Day (14) and Brady Landon Day (9).

A visitation and celebration of life for friends and family will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5-8 pm at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel.
