David Bentley Walker

David Bentley “Bo” Walker, aged 56, died on December 28, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Bo is the son of the late Buford Earl Walker and Susan Sawyers Walker Martin, who survives.

He was a 1986 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1986 until 1992, where he served in the Gulf War and Dessert Storm. Until his death, Bo worked as a Propane Delivery Man and recently named Service Manager for AmeriGas.

In addition to his mother, Bo is survived by his wife, Tonia Marie Walker, sons; Joseph Cole Walker and Eric Reid Walker, daughters; Casey P. Rigney (Jimmy) and Mandy P. Degiovanni (Jerry), brother, Jeff Walker of Collinsville, VA, 5 grandchildren, stepfather, Jim Martin and stepbrothers; Randy Martin, Sammy Martin and Kevin Martin,

A visitation for David “Bo” Walker will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Stone Memorial Christian Church, 3030 Virginia Ave, Collinsville, VA . A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 12:00PM at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Reverend Tim Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park with Military Rites to be conducted by the Martinsville-Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.
