David Earl Hodges

David Earl Hodges, 65, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer, Sr. and Earline Hodges and great-nephew, Alexander McCormick.

He is survived by his wife of almost 32 years, Deborah Lynn Hodges; son and daughter-in-law, David and Ashley Wall; step-son, Ivan Wall; grandchildren, Adrian, Isabella, and Daniel Wall; step-granddaughter, Arianna Wall; brother, Elmer Hodges, Jr.; sisters, Patricia (PJ) McCormick. Darlene McGhee, and Diane Bane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, August 12, 2024 in Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
