David F. Katt

David Frederick Katt, age 84 of Callaway, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2026.  David was born October  26, 1941 in New York to the late Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Katt. David earned a master's degree and worked many years as an audiologist for the State of Michigan. After retiring to Virginia he joined Piedmont Presbyterian Church in Callaway where he met his loving wife of 30 years, Katherine "Kitty" Katt. He and Kitty worked side by side serving in many ministries through the years including: singing in the choir , serving as Deacon and Elder and working with elementary aged kids after school during Activity Hour. Surviving is his wife of 30 years Katherine "Kitty" Katt; daughter Ellen Kaltenbach; son Peter Katt (Pam); stepdaughter Teri Vann (Mark); brother Don Katt (Linda); grandchildren Wren Kaltenbach, Craig Kaltenbach (Taylor), Jedidiah, Joseph, and Kris Katt.Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from Piedmont Presbyterian Church with Mr. Jack Milliron officiating.
