David Glen Hollandsworth

David Glen Hollandsworth, 90, of Salem, joined family members and friends in his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Evie Hollandsworth; brothers, Melvin Hollandsworth, Eugene W. Hollandsworth, Marvin V. Hollandsworth, and Elmer Lee Hollandsworth; and sisters, Juanita Altice and Ila Jean Hollandsworth.

David is survived by his sister, Jane H. Orr; fiancé, Merle Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David served bravely in the United States Army from 1957 – 1960, serving in the Korea. He later started his own business, Hollandsworth Mechanical Contractor. He was part of many organizations including V.F.W. 1264, D.A.V., Shriner’s, Scottish Rite, Melrose Masonic Lodge #139, and Loyal Order of Moose #284.
