David Lee Dew

David Lee Dew, 76, of Blairs, Va, passed away on April 6, 2026 after six months of declining health. David was born in Eden, NC on January 8, 1950 to the late Louis Ishmael Dew Sr. & Pauline McDaniel Dew. Mr. Dew graduated from Morehead High School in 1968. He also attended Kings College in Charlotte, NC, where he graduated in 1970 with a Business Degree. David previously attended White Oak Worship Center, and he worked many years at Goodyear Tire an Rubber Company, previous to his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Nicole Dew Turman and husband Jason of Danville, VA. David was a proud papa of 3 grandsons, Brayden, Colton, and Tyler, several nieces, Elisa and Amy and several great nieces.

He was predeceased in death by his loving parents of Eden, NC, Louis Ishmeal Dew Sr. and Pauline McDaniel Dew, and one brother, Louis Ishmeal Dew Jr. of Reidsville, NC.

David loved taking trips to the beach, mountains, fishing and watching any and all sporting events. Honoring his wishes, David will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
