David Lee Sanders

David Lee Sanders, 56, of Bassett, VA passed away on Tuesday July 4, 2023 at Duke Medical Center, Durham, NC. He was born on May 24, 1967 to the late Billy Joe Sanders and Pasty Richards. He was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Paula Moore.

David was a retired Truck Driver.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by numerous amounts of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Bobby Rakes and George Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bassett, Virginia immediately following the funeral service.
