Davis Hasper Gregory

Davis Hasper Gregory Jr., 77, passed away on September 22, 2025. Davis was born in Danville, VA on December 17, 1947 to the late Elanor Brown Gregory and the late Davis Hasper Gregory Sr. Davis was also predeceased by his loving wife, Mrs. Brenda Gatewood Gregory.

Davis was of the Christian Faith, and a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He was a Life Member of the Danville Life Saving Crew. He worked for many years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, previous to his retirement.

Davis is survived by two sons; Alan Gregory and wife Michelle and Brian Davis Gregory and wife Maggie, all of Danville, VA; and three grandchildren; Judah Gregory, Elijah Gregory, and Avigale Gregory.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Davis was predeceased by a brother; James Richard Gregory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 3:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 2-3:00pm, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
