Deborah Carol Hawk Campbell

Deborah (Debbie) Carol Campbell went home to be with the lord on October 30th 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Deborah was born in Virginia on November 25th, 1963.

She was the best Wife, Mom, Mimi, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Niece that anyone could have ever asked for. She worked as a school nurse at Amherst Elementary for many years and loved all the children that she took care of. She had the most infectious smile, the prettiest blue eyes, and a very bubbly personality that everyone loved. She cherished and loved butterflies, she was the butterfly girl.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Lyle and Ruby Meadows. She is survived by her parents Dennis and Judy Ayers, Her Husband Robert Wayne Campbell, Her Daughter Jessica Hawkins and Her Husband Justin Hawkins, Her Grandchildren Lilly Grace, Liam Nicholas and Wyatt Matthew, Her Sister Angel Lehman and Her Husband Kevin Lehman, Her Nephew Michael Powell and His Wife Tessa and their children Zoey and Lakyyn Powell, Her Nephew Kevie Lehman, and Her Uncle Ronnie Meadows and His Wife Pam.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Driskill funeral chapel of Amherst Virginia. Service will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Driskill Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Amherst Cemetery. Pastor Benjamin Smith of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church is officiating. Services are being overseen by Driskill Funeral Chapel, Amherst, VA. 201 Grandview Dr, Amherst, VA 24521.
