Debra Kay Scott Mundy

Debra Kay Scott Mundy, 70, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 26, 2023.  She was preceded by her father, Donald Scott; mother, Hilda Thurston; and brother, Cyril Edwards, Jr.

Surviving is her husband, Garry Mundy; son, Chris Mundy; sisters, Robin Staton (Ronnie), Lisa Pugh (Rick), Cynthia Ferris (Mark), Sonya Leigh (Frank); sisters-in-law, Diana Camper and Sharon Parker; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Cindy, Ann, and Becky and her beloved "adopted" sister, Tina (Mike)

The family would like to offer a very special thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for their many acts of kindness and compassion.

A celebration of Debra's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Pastor Dean Staton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  540-366-0707
