Della Sue Moss

Della Sue Moss, age 69 of Chatham, Virginia passed away January 5, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Mrs. Moss was born May 30, 1955 in Wytheville, Virginia to the late Hazel Talley and the late Henry Talley. She was married 49 years to Gary Dean Moss, who survives of the residence.

She was a medical transcriptionist and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and for her love and devotion to her family and friends.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is also survived by two daughters, Amanda Baker and her husband Kevin and Sharon Martin and her husband Curtis; four grandchildren, Onsley Baker, Daniel Martin, Hannah Martin, and Chloe Martin; one great grandson, Scottie Martin; numerous nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Cindy; and various beloved pets.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her two brothers, Gerald Fry and Denny Fry.

A visitation celebrating Mrs. Moss’s life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave. Danville, VA 24541.
